Terms for Volunteering

Sistering is a daytime, women’s drop-in and most of the “non-committee” volunteer activities occur during daytime, and often weekday, hours.

All regular weekly volunteers are required to attend such orientation and screening activities as:

  • an orientation session
  • a formal interview
  • on-going and “on the job” orientation, training, and support
  • Diversity Training and various other volunteer workshops.
